This policy explains what data the Sheets Split extension and the website https://sheets-split.vercel.app process. Data controller: Zhilinskiy Dzmitriy Antonovich, Republic of Belarus. Contact: mitsunariisida92@gmail.com.

What we do NOT collect

The extension never sends us or anyone else the contents of your spreadsheets, formulas, file or sheet names, your browsing history or your Google account data. Spreadsheets open in your browser under your own Google account, just like in a regular tab. Formula reference highlighting runs entirely inside your browser.

What is stored in your browser

Settings (layouts, workspaces, zoom, theme, language), the trial start date, a random installation ID and your Pro key. They are kept in the extension storage (chrome.storage) and, if Chrome sync is on, synced across your devices by Google.

What our server receives

• The random installation ID and the Pro key — to check whether Pro is paid and to limit one key to 3 computers.
• When you buy — from the payment provider: your email address, plan, order or subscription ID, amount and payment status. Card details are entered only on the payment provider’s page; we never receive or store them.
• Uninstall feedback — only what you choose to write in the form.
• Website visits — anonymous Vercel Web Analytics statistics: which pages were opened, where visitors came from (link, campaign tag), country and device type. No cookies and nothing that identifies you.

Why

To issue and verify Pro keys, email you your key, answer support requests and meet tax and accounting obligations. We do not sell data, do not use it for advertising and do not share it with anyone except the processors listed below.

Processors

Payment provider lava.top (payments), Vercel Inc. (website and server hosting), Supabase Inc. (Pro key database), an email delivery service (license key email). Servers may be located outside your country.

Retention

Pro key data — while the key is active and 3 years after it ends (accounting and disputes). Feedback — up to 2 years. We delete data earlier on request unless the law requires us to keep it.

Your rights

You can request a copy, correction or deletion of your data by writing to mitsunariisida92@gmail.com. We reply within 30 days. If you are in the EU/EEA or the UK, you also have the right to lodge a complaint with your data protection authority.
